About the client:

The client, a leading manufacturing company based in Tamworth, is renowned for producing high-quality, innovative card products for a wide range of applications. The company prides itself on its attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday, varying shifts between the hours of 09:00 – 22:00. This will be covering sickness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise surfaces and rooms.
• Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
• Properly handle and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, restrooms, and corridors.
• Perform specialised cleaning in critical areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in public areas.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
• Collaborate with cleaning and staff for a clean environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
